Golf Events in PEI

We wouldn’t be the number one golf destination in Canada without tons of events to go with it! From unique festivals to regularly scheduled competitions be sure to check one out during your stay here. Watch pros and learn valuable skills as they conquer the links or take part yourself. Bring your significant other for the International Couples Golf Festival or catch a bit of The Big Break Disney Golf series from the Golf Channel. Turn your golf experience in Prince Edward Island up a notch as you take part in friendly competition and test your skills against one of our many golf courses. Wherever you are, there’s a course not far away and there’s sure to be something exciting happening there.

International Couples Golf Festival, held July 8 to 12 2010 is a first of its kind. The previous festival, over 90 couples attended for four nights and five days of the ultimate golf vacation. Over twice as many are predicted to attend this year. Hang out with like minded couples, take in a few rounds of golf together at PEI’s top courses, relax in luxury style accommodations, take in the best sights from the Island and enjoy the best Island cuisine from land and sea. The International Couples Festival is a great way to relax and get some fresh sea air while challenging each other on course. The festival is booked as an all inclusive vacation, so do so ahead of time to ensure your spot and we’ll see you out there!

The  Annual Northumberland Fisheries Festival, happening in July is a cultural festival  including the Miss Northumberland Pageant, dory races, poker runs, log rolling, fish tank races among other events, but most importantly—a golf tournament! Take part with the locals of PEI and battle it out on the fairway for the top spot in golf.
