The Old Winsloe House, built in 1906 as a family home, is a typical island house. Situated in two acres of wooded ground, it overlooks the Northumberland Strait at Guernsey Cove, near Murray Harbour. Located on the pretty eastern end of the island, it can be found as one follows the Points East Scenic Drive. As well as the grounds around the house, that are currently being landscaped, there is private access to a further acre of woodland and a small-secluded beach. The house has recently been completely renovated creating a modern interior whilst maintaining some of the old character and keeping the old exterior style and front veranda. The property has been refurbished to the Four Star standard of the Canada Select vacation home rating organization.
The Coach House is new and situated in the same grounds as the Old Winsloe House. It has Canada Select 4-star staus, is spacious and self-contained, with a fully fitted modern kitchen, lounge with sofa bed, a queen-sized bedroom, separate bathroom, hall, and a verandah overlooking the gardens towards the Northumberland Strait.
